Prescott Thomas are a well established supplier of fresh fruit and vegetables based at the New Spitalfields Market in Leyton. Prescott Thomas have been serving all sectors of the catering industry in the Greater London and the Home Counties areas for over 100 years.

Home Grown Produce

Fruit and Vegetables Prescott Thomas source over 50% of their produce from local growers and farms during the growing season and with their depot right on the doorstep of Britain's premier fruit, vegetable and flower market. They are well placed to supply a diverse range of fresh produce to their varied customer base.

A fleet of 45 refrigerated vehicles can deliver 6 days per week and helps to maintain the cool-chain policy implemented throughout the warehouse to maintain freshness of the produce.

Both BRC Global Higher Level and Red Tractor Accreditation has been achieved and the Company are also addressing Green issues by reducing packaging, recycling boxes, using Bio-Fuels and Electric vehicles to reduce the Carbon Footprint.
